Varicruz

Better known as the carpenter's cross, the oldest version of this puzzle dates back to the 18th century and was found in Fribourg at the Valsainte charterhouse. It is attributed to the monk Dom Joseph Hermann, nicknamed the sleeping monk.

1. The parts

The varicruz is made up of 14 pieces. The assembly of 6 pieces forming a cross is called an "inter-cross".

You have the possibility to find the crisscross variants of your choice by searching for yourself among the 14 pieces.
